Who we are

Maxt Offroad is a UTV accessories store based in Idaho, United States, operated by Maxt Offroad LLC. We sell UTV accessories directly to customers. If you have any question about this policy or about your data, reach us through the contact page or at support@maxtoffroad.com.

This policy describes the information used to operate the store, respond to requests and understand site activity.

What we collect and why

Contact form

When you use our contact form, we ask for your name, email address, a subject, and your message. The form sends your submission to our support mailbox. Its handler also uses a short-lived identifier derived from the request IP address to limit repeated submissions. Our email and hosting services may process related operational records. If you request a shipping quote, we also use the products, quantities and destination information you provide to assess the request.

Store accounts and orders

When you place an order or create an account, we collect your name, email address, billing and shipping addresses, phone number, and your order history. We use this information to process and ship your order, provide order updates, handle returns, and meet our accounting and tax obligations. This information is stored in our store database.

Communication preferences

Our communication system stores contact details, consent decisions and suppression records used to manage message eligibility and preferences. Cookie preferences and permission to receive marketing email are separate choices.

Payments

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Card payment details are collected through Stripe’s payment interface. Our store retains payment status and transaction references used to process orders, reconcile payments, and handle refunds.

Saved garage (your vehicle)

Our garage feature lets you save your machine (make, model, year, and trim) so we can show you parts that fit. How it is stored depends on whether you are logged in:

• Logged in: your saved vehicles are stored with your account in our store database so they follow you across devices.
• Not logged in: your vehicle is saved in your own browser using localStorage, plus one first-party functional cookie named md_ymm_vehicle that lasts about 6 months. The cookie is sent to our website and read by the server to personalize fitment results. Your browser also retains the local selection until it is cleared or expires.

Cookies, analytics, and your choices

We use first-party functional cookies to remember your saved vehicle (md_ymm_vehicle, about 6 months) and keep your cart and login session working. We also use browser localStorage for saved selections and preferences. These support the store features you use.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors reach and use the site, and MaxtDesign Signal to measure activity on the site. Google processes analytics data through its service; Signal records activity in our site database, including page and product activity, session identifiers, referral information and cart or order-related activity. Records can contain customer or order identifiers where available; they are not necessarily anonymous. Our Google integration uses Consent Mode; declining analytics cookies does not necessarily stop all measurement requests to Google. Other Automattic services remain in use for site operation and security. Jetpack visitor statistics, its WooCommerce analytics module, and the host-injected Gauges collector are disabled.

For visitors identified as being in the United States, optional analytics is enabled by default unless you decline it or send a recognized browser privacy signal. We do not show a cookie banner to U.S. visitors. Outside the United States, or when we cannot determine the country, optional tracking remains off until you choose to allow it. We use the country signal supplied by our hosting provider, Pressable, to choose this default; this consent integration does not store your IP address or send it to a separate geolocation service. Country detection can be imperfect, including when a VPN is used. A saved choice is respected, and Global Privacy Control overrides an earlier permission to track. You can select analytics only, decline optional tracking, or change your choice using the Manage Your Cookie Preferences controls below.

Service providers

• Payment processing and analytics involve the providers described above. Pressable hosts our website. We use Google’s email service to send store messages, and email services to handle support correspondence. Order fulfillment can involve manufacturers, suppliers and delivery carriers that need relevant order and delivery information.
• You can control analytics and advertising preferences separately using the controls below.
• Product reviews are disabled on the store.

How long we keep information

Contact emails are kept as long as needed to handle the conversation. Order and account records are kept as long as your account is active and as long as accounting and tax rules require us to keep transaction records. Guest vehicle selections are stored in the browser, and the vehicle cookie is sent to the site for fitment. Signal is configured to retain raw events for 90 days and sessions for 400 days, and to clear cart-item detail after 60 days. These are scheduled retention periods; aggregated reports may remain longer. Copies held in provider systems, email accounts, logs and backups can have different retention periods. Communication systems retain preference and suppression records to help prevent unwanted messages, including after other personal content is erased.

Your rights and deletion requests

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We honor these requests for everyone, no matter what state or country you live in and regardless of any legal threshold that would let us decline. Send your request through the contact page and we will confirm once it is done. Note that we may need to keep basic transaction records where tax or accounting law requires it.

Children

This site sells vehicle accessories and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles data, we will update this page and change the date below. Significant changes, like adding a new payment provider or an analytics tool, will be reflected here.
