How to choose a UTV gun rack
Where it mounts. Polaris Ranger and General beds have Lock and Ride anchors, and two racks here plug straight into them with no drilling. Can-Am machines carry plunger-style anchor points, and the Defender ratcheting rack uses those. A RZR has 1 inch tie down anchors, and two of the ratcheting and auto-clamp holders hand-tighten into those. If your machine has none of that, the cage-clamp holders fit round bars from 0.75 up to 2 inches depending on the model, and there is a floor mount, an overhead rack, and an under-seat rack that bolt in instead.
How it grips. Ratcheting jaws close down to the real diameter of whatever you load, and a push button opens them one-handed. The Lock and Ride gun rack uses rubber coated fins and adjustable snubbers instead. The roll bar holders and the bed rack use rubber inserts with adjustable straps.

Rated weight is listed on only one holder, the push-button round tube rack at 15 lbs, so treat the rest as long-gun and hand-tool racks and keep the heavy stuff in the bed. Tube size is the spec to check twice on the clamp-on holders: the roll bar set wants 1.75 or 2 inch bars, the round-tube holders want 0.75 to 1.25 inch, and a 1.5 inch cage bar falls between them.
