Where to start
- Windshields. Glass or polycarbonate, then half, full, flip, or rear. Polycarbonate covers the half, full, and flip fronts. Glass takes a wiper: the Vented Glass Windshield with 2 Wipers for Polaris RZR XP 1000 is DOT approved 7mm laminated safety glass. Rear windows and wind deflectors live here too, and SuperATV and Assault Industries add flip, half, full, and rear panels and DOT approved glass for the Polaris RZR. The UTV windshield guide covers the glass versus polycarbonate call.
- Roofs. Four builds by material. Soft canvas tops strap on with no drilling. The Kemimoto molded plastic hard tops come in two to five piece sets one person can handle, and SuperATV's plastic roofs for the full-size Ranger come in a standard or a deluxe build. SuperATV also makes 1/4 inch tinted polycarbonate roofs for the RZR and Ranger. Aluminum is the heavy option; the Aluminum Roof for Can-Am Maverick X3 is stamped from one piece of 2mm aluminum with no seams to leak. Roof racks from Tusk and SuperATV are filed here as well.
- Bumpers. Front bumpers, upper brush guards, and rear bumpers. Builds run from 38mm or 1.5 inch steel with a rust resistant coating to 1.75 inch steel tubing, 1/8 inch steel plating, and billet aluminum. SuperATV, Elektric Offroad, and Assault Industries add bumpers for the Polaris Ranger and RZR and the Can-Am Defender and Maverick lines, including winch-ready bumpers in 1/8 inch steel for the Ranger and Defender and winch-ready tube and billet aluminum front bumpers for the Maverick X3. Many front bumpers are pre-drilled for an auxiliary light, and the Honda Pioneer bumpers come with LEDs built in.
- Fender flares. Molded polypropylene or HDPE panels that widen the fender line. The extended sets are the story: 8.5 inches wide on the RZR XP 1000 and XP 4 1000, and 3.9 to 8.9 inches on the Maverick X3. Tusk's quick release kit for the RZR uses stainless hardware so the flares come off for dry rides.
- Rock sliders. Steel and aluminum bars that guard the rockers, and some double as a step. Most are listed as bolt-on, and several note they keep stock ground clearance. SuperATV adds Assault Industries 1/4 inch aluminum sliders, Elektric Offroad Volt steel sliders, and heavy-duty tube sliders and nerf bars for the RZR, Ranger, and Maverick. The Steel Rock Sliders (Nerf Bars) for Polaris Ranger XP 1000 and the Kemimoto sliders for the General 1000 and XP 1000 are the Polaris work-machine picks.
- Skid plates. The Tusk Quiet-Glide UHMW Skid Plate 3/8 in for the Kawasaki Teryx, slick plastic that glides over rock and runs quieter than aluminum. Nothing for Polaris or Can-Am yet, and we would rather say so than pad the page.
A few parts sit at the parent level: Tusk front mud flaps and a replacement hood for the Polaris RZR, a TPE bed mat for the Polaris General, and intake covers for the Teryx KRX 1000.

Polaris RZR has a deep bench in every child except skid plates, covering the XP 1000, XP 4 1000, Pro XP, Pro R, Turbo R, Trail, and RZR 200. Polaris Ranger gets a sliding glass rear window and rock sliders for the XP 1000, roofs and sliders for the Crew, an upper brush guard, a rear bumper, and rear fender flares, and SuperATV adds aluminum, plastic, and tinted roofs, Outfitter roof racks, and nerf bars across the Ranger line, plus winch-ready bumpers for the Ranger XP 1000, Ranger 1000, and XP Kinetic. Can-Am Defender has a glass windshield with wiper, a flip front windshield, a soft roof with sunroof for the MAX, fender flares, a rear bumper with tail light, and SuperATV winch-ready front bumpers and sheet metal rear bumpers. The Maverick X3 and Maverick R get aluminum roofs, front and rear bumpers, flares, and rock sliders. The Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000 is where the Tusk glass lives, plus an aluminum roof, rock sliders, and the skid plate. Mule Pro, Pioneer, Talon, Commander, ZForce, Xpedition, and Wolverine RMAX parts are named in the titles. Browse by machine from the Polaris RZR hub or the Can-Am hub.
What to know before you order
Year ranges are narrow on the newest platforms: several RZR XP 1000 parts are cut for 2024 to 2025 or 2024 to 2026 only, the Ranger XP 1000 upper brush guard is 2025 to 2026, and the Pro XP half windshield is 2020 to 2024. If your year is not in the title, do not assume the part will work. Glass is heavy: one windshield is about 63 pounds and another says to plan on two people for the lift. And the Tusk RZR flare kit and front mud flaps need some drilling, as does a 2026 Maverick R XRC for the Elektric Offroad Volt sliders, while almost everything else bolts on.
From MaxtOffroad
If we had to point at one part in this category, it is the Vented Glass Windshield with 2 Wipers for Polaris RZR XP 1000. Two bottom mounted wipers clear over 90 percent of the glass and never fight the roof frame, the panel is DOT approved 7mm laminated safety glass in an aluminum frame, and the built in vent handles airflow. It is cut for the 2024 to 2026 XP 1000, so check the year before you order.
Frequently asked questions
Glass or polycarbonate windshield?
Glass resists scratching where polycarbonate hazes and takes a wiper. Polycarbonate weighs less, and the removable versions come off for open air. The UTV windshield guide goes deeper.
Do the bumpers and rock sliders need drilling?
Generally not. The Kemimoto bumpers and sliders generally reuse factory bolts or existing frame points, and each listing says so. Several of the SuperATV and Elektric Offroad bumpers are listed as bolt-on with no drilling required. The exceptions are the Tusk RZR fender flare kit and front mud flaps, which need some drilling into the stock fenders, and the Elektric Offroad Volt sliders for the Can-Am Maverick R, which say the 2026 Maverick R XRC requires drilling.
Do you have skid plates for the Polaris Ranger or Can-Am Defender?
Not yet. The one skid plate in the lineup is the Tusk Quiet-Glide UHMW plate for the Kawasaki Teryx. For a Ranger or Defender, the rock sliders category covers the rockers and the bumpers category covers the nose and tail.
