Overview
Most flip panels give you two choices: open or shut. This kawasaki mule pro flip windshield gives you three. A dual-handle system lets you run it fully open for maximum airflow, cracked partway for steady ventilation, or fully closed when the wind, mud, and rain get serious. In summer it works like a half windshield. In winter you shut it and forget the weather is out there.
The panel is quarter inch hard coated polycarbonate, so it resists scratches, impacts, and fading rather than clouding up after one dusty season. Light transmittance runs about 93%, which keeps glare down and the view clean. A rubber seal around the edge takes up vibration, so you get less rattle over washboard and a quieter cab overall.
One install note worth reading before you start: the hydraulic support rod bracket has to sit tight against the positioning block that comes in the package. Get that right and the panel supports itself solidly with no wobble at either end of its travel. Everything else you need, hardware and instructions, ships in the box.
