Rock Sliders

Rock sliders take the hit so your machine’s underside does not. Call them nerf bars or crash bars, the job is the same: slide over rock instead of catching on it, and shield the frame and floorboards on tight, rocky lines. We carry 7 rock slider sets, each cut and fitted to a specific machine so the bar sits where it should and can double as a jack point. Polaris General owners have the deepest coverage here, and CFMOTO ZForce riders get a dedicated kit too. A slider is only as good as its fit, so every set is matched to seating layout and wheelbase, not stretched to cover a family of machines.

What rock sliders actually do

Good sliders are structural, not trim. The ones worth buying share a few traits:

  • Steel-tube construction. These sets use 1.5-inch steel tube, not thin-wall tubing that folds on the first real hit.
  • Load dispersion plate. A laser-cut fabricated plate spreads impact across the mounting points instead of loading a single bolt, which is what lets the bar take repeated abuse.
  • Jack point. Because they are built strong and tied into the frame, these sliders can be used as a lift point when you need to change a tire or free a hung-up machine on the trail.
  • Finish. A powder-coated endurance finish keeps rust off the part of the machine that scrapes rock all day.

What fits your Polaris General

If you ride a General, you have the deepest options. We carry rock sliders for the General 1000 (2-seat), the General XP, the General XP 4, and the General 4-seat, so the set matches your seating layout and wheelbase instead of forcing a near-fit. All of them are cross-linked from the Polaris General hub, where you can see the full lineup of General-specific protection, racks, and mounts in one place. Riding something else? The Polaris Xpedition (2-seat and 5-seat) and the CFMOTO ZForce also have dedicated slider kits here. Sliders live under protection alongside the rest of the armor. Confirm year and trim on the product's fitment chart before ordering.

From MaxtOffroad

A lot of sliders on the market are dress-up parts that fold on the first real hit. These are not those. The Polaris General 1000 set runs 1.5-inch steel tube with a laser-cut Load Dispersion Plate, which spreads impact across the mounts instead of loading one bolt, and that is exactly what lets it stand in as a jack point instead of a scuff bar. That plate is the tell that separates a slider you can trust from one you just bolted on for looks.
