Overview
A Ranger spends most of its life doing work, and work means brush, ledges, and the occasional stump you did not see coming. Steel rock sliders give the lower body a sacrificial layer so those hits land on tube instead of plastic.
These bolt to the frame with metal hardware rather than clamping to bodywork, so they stay put. Kemimoto designed the mounting so the bars do not shake loose after a season of washboard and rutted two track. The steel construction is what does the actual protecting, and the tread surface on the top of the bar means you also get a step to swing off when you are climbing in with a load in your hands.
Ground clearance stays exactly where the factory left it. These polaris ranger rock sliders sit tucked against the rocker and do not extend below the floor of the machine, so they reach far enough out to catch obstacles before the body does without changing how the Ranger handles.
