Five roofs in roofs. The Aluminum Roof for Can-Am Maverick X3 is a one-piece 2mm stamping for the two-door X3 with no seams to leak and rubber pads where it meets the cage. The Aluminum Hard Roof for Can-Am Maverick R is 0.079 inch aluminum shaped to the R body line, no drilling. Soft options are the 900D oxford soft top for the X3 at about $43 and the canvas soft roof for the X3 MAX with a tinted skylight. The Kemimoto upgraded two piece hard roof covers the Maverick Trail, Maverick Sport and Commander with added brackets that hold it down at speed.
Bumpers and rock sliders
In bumpers, the X3 gets the 1.5 inch tube Front Bumper for Can-Am Maverick X3 and X3 MAX with an aluminum lower plate, and a spotlight ready version with an adjustable 11 mm slot in the upper center. The Maverick R gets a 38mm pre-runner front bumper for 2024 to 2026 that mounts to four factory pre-drilled holes. Tusk’s Impact Rear Bumper bolts to factory chassis locations. In rock sliders, the Nerf Bars Rock Sliders for Can-Am Maverick X3 2017-2026 are 1.26 inch powder coated tubing that mount without cutting or drilling; there is a full-length pair for the four seat X3 MAX, and a Maverick R version in 38 mm tube with serrated step pads.
Lighting
The 50-Inch RGB LED Light Bar for Can-Am Maverick X3 & X3 Max puts up to 15,500 lumens across the roof, with seven ambient colors and stainless brackets that line up with factory roll cage holes. The 10 inch shock tower bar mounts low on factory bolts to fill the ground a roof bar shoots over. Three flare sets for the X3 and X3 Max in fender flares: standard, red, and an extended set widened from 3.9 to 8.9 inches. Tusk aluminum door latch handles replace the OEM nylon straps, and the Tusk Can-Am X3 grab handle kit bolts to the cage with no drilling. Two half windshields, a tinted polycarbonate panel from Kemimoto and a clear removable panel from Tusk, round it out.
Trims and years to check
- Maverick X3 and X3 MAX. Most parts list both. Roofs are the exception: the aluminum roof is for the two-door X3, the canvas soft roof is for the X3 MAX, and the nerf bars come in separate two-door and MAX lengths. The X3 rock sliders list 2017 to 2026.
- Maverick R. Every R part here lists 2024 and newer: the front bumper (2024 to 2026), the rock sliders, the aluminum roof, the fang lights and the spare tire carrier. The front bumper and Tusk’s cargo barricade also list the R MAX.
