Overview
These are Elektric Offroad’s Volt rock sliders for the four seat Can-Am Maverick X3 MAX. The MAX has long body sides, and these put steel along the rocker panels and frame sides, where rocks, ledges, stumps and deep ruts would otherwise land.

Rock sliders or nerf bars
The two names get used loosely. As a rule of thumb, a rock slider is the part you want for ledges, rock gardens and off camber lines, where the rocker itself takes the hit. A simple nerf bar is more about brush and the odd stump. These are sold as rock sliders, and the maker’s own description is about rocks, ledges and ruts. They cover the same area as a nerf bar, so you do not need both.

Installation
Elektric Offroad describes a bolt on install that uses the factory mounting points and the included hardware, with no fabrication and no permanent changes to the machine. These are long parts on a long machine, so have a second person hold the far end, and start every bolt by hand before you tighten any of them.

Will they fit a two seat Maverick X3?
The two seat X3 is not on the fitment list. This set is for the four seat MAX.
Do I have to cut or weld?
Elektric Offroad says no. The sliders use the factory mounting points and the hardware that comes with them.
Do they fit both the 64 and 72 inch machines?
Yes. The 2022 and newer list covers the 64 models and the 72 models named above.
Will the finish last?
The powder coat is there to resist chips, scrapes and UV. It is still a coating on a part built to hit rocks, so expect marks over time and touch them up to keep rust off the steel.
