Overview
These are Assault Industries rock sliders for the Can-Am Maverick X3 MAX. A four seat X3 is long, and in boulder fields or on rock shelves the sides between the wheels take the scrapes. These aluminum panels cover that stretch so the rockers and lower body panels do not have to.

The fitment notes say these sliders work with SuperATV skid plates and with the factory skid plate. The two seat Maverick X3 is not listed for this set. If you own the newer Maverick R MAX, it has its own: rock sliders for the Maverick R MAX.
Panel sliders or tube nerf bars
Tube style nerf bars give you a step and a grab point, but the open space between the tubes is where a rock or a branch can catch. A solid panel like this one has nothing to hook on, sits closer to the body and shields the whole rocker face. If you crawl rocks or squeeze through tight timber on an X3 MAX, the panel is the better match. If you mostly want a step for passengers climbing into the back seat, a tube bar from UTV rock sliders may suit you more.

Installation
Everything needed to mount them is in the box. The listing does not describe the mounting points, so go through the instructions before you pull a tool out. On a long part like this, start every bolt by hand and leave them loose until the whole slider is lined up, then snug them down evenly. Look them over again after a few rides, since hardware settles once it has seen some vibration.
