Overview
Shade first, everything else second. This Maverick X3 soft top roof is cut to the shape of the factory roll bar frame, which means it throws its shadow where you actually sit instead of leaving your shoulders baking while the rear cage gets covered.
The panel is 900D oxford cloth with a PVC waterproof coating. That combination resists friction and tearing, holds up to UV without fading out to gray after one season, and sheds water instead of soaking it up. It also does the unglamorous job nobody thinks about until it happens: keeping leaves, branches, and bird droppings off you and out of the cab.
Kemimoto uses multiple attachment points rather than a couple of corner straps, so the top stays put instead of flapping and drumming at speed. Nothing gets drilled. The straps and clips wrap the roof frame you already have, and the whole thing takes minutes to fit or pull back off when you want open sky again. Rolled up it stores small enough to live in the bed box.
