Four seats means four people asking why there is no shade. This Maverick X3 MAX soft roof is cut to the factory roll bar framework, so the coverage lands over both rows instead of stopping short behind the front seats.
The fabric is PVC coated oxford cloth: completely waterproof, resistant to friction and tearing, and built to hold its color under UV rather than fading out after a summer of dune days. Overhead it blocks the falling nuisances, leaves, insects, and whatever the machine in front of you kicks loose.
The front section carries a tea colored skylight. It keeps rainwater out and blocks 99.5 percent of harmful UV while still letting you and your front passenger look up at canyon walls and canopy instead of black fabric. Kemimoto also builds in multiple strap fixation points, which is the difference between a top that stays flat at speed and one that balloons and drums every time you get into the throttle. Installation runs on hook and loop straps onto the frame you already have, so there is no drilling and no hardware store trip.
