Overview
This is SuperATV’s rear bumper for the Can-Am Maverick Sport. It covers the plastic and bodywork at the back of the machine with steel tubing, for riders who drive the Sport hard enough that the stock rear end is at risk.
Which Maverick Sport it fits
- Maverick Sport 1000 and Sport 1000 DPS, 2019 and newer
- Maverick Sport 1000R DPS, 2019 and newer
- Maverick Sport 1000R DPS MAX, 2019 and newer
Those are the only Sport trims on the fitment list, so if yours is a different one, ask us before you order. The narrower Maverick Trail has its own listing: the rear bumper for the Maverick Trail. The rest are in UTV bumpers.
What a tube rear bumper does and does not do
A tube bumper keeps trees, rocks and the machine behind you off the rear plastic. That is its job. It is not a hitch and SuperATV does not describe it as a tow point, so do not pull from it. It also stays out of the way of the cargo area, which matters if you load a cooler or a spare in the back every ride.
