Overview
The nose of an X3 is the first thing to find a rock, a stump, or the tail end of the machine in front of you. This Kemimoto front bumper puts a black steel cage between all of that and your grille, headlights, and radiator.
It looks compact bolted up, but the build is not shy. The main hoop is 1.5 inch (3.9 cm) steel tubing, backed by an aluminum plate across the lower section for extra bite when the trail turns into rock garden. The finish is black, shaped to follow the lines the factory already drew, so it reads like a factory option instead of a bolt-on afterthought.
Installation is a bolt-on job. The mounting screws and the instructions come in the box, and it goes on the front of the machine without cutting anything up. Once it is on, the parts you actually pay to replace (grille mesh, headlight housings, engine hood) stop taking direct hits from whatever the trail throws.
