Overview
These are Assault Industries rock sliders for the four seat Polaris RZR XP 4 Turbo. The XP 4 Turbo carries its weight low and long, which is great until a rock catches the side. These sliders put a sheet of aluminum between that rock and the rockers, front row to back.
Which RZR it fits
Polaris RZR XP 4 Turbo, model years 2016 to 2021. The fitment notes say these sliders work with SuperATV skid plates and with the factory skid plate.
The non turbo four seat uses the rock sliders for the RZR XP 4 1000. A Turbo R 4 is a different machine and has the rock sliders for the RZR Turbo R 4. The two seat XP Turbo is not listed for this set.
Aluminum or steel
Aluminum sliders are the lighter option and they will not rust, even where a rock knocks the powder coat off. That suits a turbo machine you ride fast. Steel is stiffer and springs back from hits that would dent aluminum, and it is easier to weld if something bends far from home, but it is heavier and it can rust once it is chipped. Installation
Assault supplies all the hardware. The listing does not name the mounting points, so read through the instructions before you start. Get every bolt threaded by hand, line up the full length of the slider, then tighten. Recheck everything once the machine has a few rides on it.
