The panel is 5mm laminated safety glass held in a steel frame. Against polycarbonate that means real scratch resistance, the kind that survives sandstorms, dense brush, and heavy debris without hazing over. Light transmittance runs about 95%, so the view is bright with low glare, and integrated rubber seals soak up vibration and shock for a smoother, quieter cab.
The wiper geometry is designed around roof-equipped machines, so it will not fight a roof you already have installed. Everything you need to mount it comes in the box along with photo instructions, which makes the install a job you can plan around a morning rather than a weekend.
