This one is stamped from a single piece of 2mm aluminum, so there are no seams to leak or work loose. The metallic finish reads sharp against the X3 bodywork, and the panel is impact resistant and corrosion resistant, which matters more than looks when you are washing mud off it every weekend. Rubber pads sit between the roof and the round cage bars so the two never bang together, which kills both the noise and the wear marks that come with it.
It also handles the boring stuff well. Sun, rain, branches, and trail debris stay outside, so the seats are still clean when you get back to the truck.
