Overview
If you have already run standard flares and still wiped mud off your visor at the end of the day, this is the answer. These extended fender flares for Maverick X3 measure 8.9 inches wide, up from the 3.9 inch standard version, and the wider the panel the more of the tire spray it catches.
That extra reach is not just about staying clean. Mud and sand coming over the wheel is also mud and sand hitting the driver, and cutting it down means fewer moments where you are riding blind through a wet section.
Material is injection molded polypropylene: light, durable and anti-faded, and stable from desert heat to arctic cold. It is a buy-once part rather than something that goes chalky after a season in the sun.
The set is eight pieces, two at each position (left, right, front and rear), with self-tapping screws and a manual in the box. Install is direct bolt-on and typically wraps up in about half an hour. Drilling small pilot holes first makes it faster. They replace OEM part #715002973.
