Talon fenders are shaped for looks first. Ride one through a wet section and you will feel exactly where they stop, usually somewhere around your boots. These Kemimoto extensions widen the whole footprint, pushing spray out and down so your feet, the door panels and the paint stay a lot closer to clean.
The panels are made from a lightweight, impact-resistant material that holds up when the trail turns rough. That combination matters on a flare: light enough that it does not fight the suspension or sag on its mounts, tough enough that a thrown rock does not put a hole in it.
