Overview
The standard extension is the one you reach for when the container on the bottom of the stack is a 1, 2, 2G2, or 4 gallon pack. Thread it onto your existing mount, drop the next container on, and the whole column tightens as one piece.
It is anodized aluminum, so it holds up to fuel, weather, and the constant on and off of a mount that actually gets used. There is nothing to fabricate: the extension uses the mounting system already on your rig.
Stacking is the cheapest way to double your range without giving up bed space. Gas on the bottom, water on top, or two fuel packs if you are running a long loop with no station in the middle. The mount does not care what is in the containers.
