Overview
Carrying three gallons and still wishing you had water along? Stack them. This extension lets a second fuel pack ride on top of a bigger bottom container without adding a single bolt hole to your rig.
It is cut for the tall packs specifically. Use it when the container on the bottom of your stack is a 3 gallon RotoPax, a 3.5 gallon FuelpaX, or a 4.5 gallon FuelpaX. Thread it onto the pack mount you already have, set the second container on top, and tighten the handle once for the whole stack.
Going the other direction is a different part. If the 3 gallon container is the one going on top of a 1, 2, or 4 gallon pack, reach for the standard extension instead.
