Overview
Four gallons is the long-day pack. One container, one mount, enough spare fuel for a full loop when the nearest station is a rumor and the trailer is farther than the gauge suggests. It still uses the flat mount pattern so the weight rides on the machine instead of on the floorboard.
It is built for gasoline, CARB/EPA 50-state compliant, and backed by a 10 year leak free guarantee. Mount it with a RotoPax pack mount (sold separately). The same extension that stacks smaller packs also works with this footprint when you want water or a second fuel pack riding on top of a four gallon base.
It is heavier once filled, so plan the mount location for load and access. A bed rack or tire carrier usually beats a high roof spot when you are pouring with gloves on. Leave headspace at the safe fill line and do not mix fuels across shells.
