Overview
This Assault Industries kit bolts a light bracket to the mount of each side mirror, which gives you a solid spot for a cube or pod light without adding another clamp to the cage. It is made for Assault Industries mirrors: the maker says it requires them.
Which machines it fits
The fitment list covers two families. On the Can-Am side it is the Maverick X3 and X3 MAX, 2017 and newer, across the Turbo, Turbo R and Turbo RR trims, plus the X3 900 for 2018. On the Polaris side it is the RZR line: RZR 570 from 2012, RZR 800 from 2008 to 2014, RZR XP 900 from 2011 to 2014, RZR 900 from 2015 to 2020, RZR S 1000 from 2016 to 2020, RZR XP 1000 from 2014, RZR XP Turbo from 2016 to 2021, RZR RS1 from 2018 to 2022, PRO XP from 2020, and RZR Pro R and Turbo R from 2022. Three notes from the maker matter more than the machine list. The kit requires Assault Industries side mirrors and fits almost all of them. It is not compatible with Nighthawk LED Side Mirrors. And Assault Industries tells buyers to confirm fitment before purchase.
Which bracket and size
Start with the machine: the Maverick X3 Mounting Bracket is cut for a 41 degree cage angle and the RZR Mounting Bracket for 54 degrees. Then the size. Assault Industries’ 3 inch LED Pod Lights use M10 brackets, and the versions that come with pod lights are M10. Brackets alone come in M8 or M10, so match the size to the light you plan to mount.
On the lights: White Pod Lights are plain white. White + Amber Pod Lights add a flashing amber that the maker says cuts through fog and dust.

The brackets attach at the mirror mounts, and Assault Industries describes the job as easy and quick. If you choose a version with lights, the maker's information for this kit does not list a wiring harness, so plan how you will power them.
