Overview
This is SuperATV’s sheet metal rear bumper for the Can-Am Defender HD10. It puts steel plate across the back of the machine, fastened to the frame, and it turns that space into somewhere to mount a rear winch or a light bar, with two D-ring mounts for pulling and towing.

The Defender Pro and the six wheel Defender are not on the fitment list. The other engine sizes are separate listings: the sheet metal rear bumper for the Defender HD8 and the sheet metal rear bumper for the Defender HD9.
Winch or light bar
The bumper has one accessory spot and two ways to use it. SuperATV describes swapping the winch for a 12 inch LED light bar, so plan on one or the other. A rear winch is for pulling the machine back out the way it came in, which is often the shortest way out of a mud hole. A rear light bar is for backing up to a trailer or working behind the machine after dark. Under Add a Winch, 3500 lb. puts the winch in the order with the bumper. No winch is the bumper on its own, and there is no light bar option on this listing.

Installation
SuperATV describes a direct bolt on fit, with the bumper secured to the frame. A plate steel bumper is awkward to hold in place on your own, so have a second person or a jack take the weight while you start the bolts by hand. If you are adding the winch, remember that a rear winch needs power run to the back of the machine. Plan that part before the bumper goes on.

Only if you choose 3500 lb. under Add a Winch. The No winch choice is the bumper by itself.

Can I run the winch and the light bar together?
