Overview
A loose spare in the back of a Defender is a 60 pound pinball. This Kemimoto Can-Am Defender spare tire holder pins it upright against the cargo box wall so it stops sliding, stops banging into your gear, and stops taking up the middle of the bed.
The kit is complete out of the box: bracket, tire holder, jack and all the hardware. Installation is tool-less and needs no drilling or cutting, which matters if you would rather not put holes in a machine you plan to sell someday.
You can set it up on the left rail, the right rail, or the front rail of the cargo box with the tire sitting inside the box. Vertical adjustment covers tires from 26 to 33 inches, so a lifted Defender on 32s is handled the same as a stock one.

One setup note from the manufacturer: keep the tire vertical and snug against the cargo box rather than letting it hang. Do that and it rides quiet.
Fitment covers Can-Am Defender HD5, HD7, HD8, HD9 and HD10 across the DPS, XT, CAB, Limited, XT-P, X MR and Lone Star trims, plus the MAX versions, from 2016 through 2024. It does not fit 6×6 or PRO models. Check your exact trim and year on the fitment list before ordering.
