Overview
These are SuperATV’s plain side view mirrors for Can-Am machines: a left and a right, with a convex mirror for a wide view of what is behind you and what is next to your tires. There are no lights on these, so there is no wiring.
Which Can-Am models it fits
- Defender: HD 10 from 2016, HD 8 from 2016 to 2021, HD 5 from 2017 to 2021, HD 7 and HD 9 from 2022, HD 11 from 2026
- Defender MAX: HD 10 from 2017, HD 8 from 2017 to 2021, HD 7 and HD 9 from 2022, HD 11 from 2026
- Maverick X3 and X3 MAX: Turbo models from 2017 (the fitment chart gives each trim’s years), plus the X3 900 for 2018
- Maverick Sport: from 2019
- Maverick Trail: 800 and 1000 from 2018, 700 from 2022
- Maverick: the earlier Maverick from 2013 to 2018
- Commander: Commander 800 and 1000 from 2011, Commander 1000R from 2021

Which cage size
You choose 1.75 inch, 2 inch or Formed Cage. SuperATV says the mirrors are built for 1.75 inch and 2 inch cages and can also mount to formed cages. The maker’s information does not match each Can-Am model to a choice, so go by your own cage: measure a round tube, and pick Formed Cage if the cage is a shaped profile and not a round tube.

Installation
The mirrors clamp to the cage. Fit them loosely, sit in the seat the way you ride, set the angle on the spherical mount, then tighten. SuperATV notes these mirrors may not be compatible with some windshields, so if you run one, ask us before you order.

Do these have lights?
No. These are mirrors only. The lighted mirrors in our store are listed for other makes.
What does breakaway mean here?
SuperATV describes breakaway spherical mounts. The maker's information does not go further than that.
Will they clear my windshield?
SuperATV's fitment note says they may not be compatible with some windshields, and it does not name which.
Do they make my machine road legal?
No part does that by itself. Mirror and road use rules for UTVs vary by state, so check your own.
