The General gets used for everything, which is exactly why its seats wear out first. This Kemimoto pair puts scratch-resistant 1680D oxford fabric over the factory upholstery so trail grit, sun, and a dog’s claws stop taking their toll.
The fabric is backed with neoprene, so the covers are water resistant and UV proof rather than just decorative. Mud and water bead off, sun does not bleach the panels, and the wear that normally shows up on the driver’s bolster after a couple of seasons gets pushed onto something replaceable instead. Gray stitching on black gives the cabin a cleaner look than a faded factory seat ever will.
Pocket storage on the covers holds a phone, keys, a wallet, or small tools where you can reach them mid-ride, which keeps the interior from filling up with loose gear. When the covers get muddy, they wipe down fast, so you are not scrubbing foam after a wet day.
