Overview
Work machines have flat cab frames, not round cage tube, and most clamp-on mirrors have nothing to grab. This one mounts to the top of the frame instead, no drilling and no modifying, with all the hardware and instructions in the box.
It also plays nice with a windshield. The mirror comes apart into two pieces and installs on the inside of the glass, so a windshield already on the machine does not get in the way of the mount or the view.
Behind the glass is an additional support pad, which is the part most rear view mirrors skip. It stiffens the mirror against cracking, and if the glass ever does break, the fragments stay stuck to the pad instead of landing in somebody’s lap. The body uses high-density material on durable aluminum mounts, so it takes impact and weather without going soft.
One thing to check before you order: this polaris ranger rear view mirror is not compatible with round roll bars. It is built for the cab frames on Ranger XP 1000 and Crew from 2017 to 2023, Ranger 1000 Diesel and Crew from 2015 to 2023, Ranger Midsize 500 from 2017 to 2023, Midsize 570 and Crew from 2015 to 2023, XP 570 and Crew from 2015 to 2016, XP 900 and Crew from 2013 to 2023, Ranger EV from 2015 to 2023, the 2015 Ranger ETX, and Can-Am Defender HD10, HD9 and Max.
