Overview
This is SuperATV’s tinted roof for the four seat Polaris RZR XP 4 1000. It covers the cab against sun, rain and trail debris, and the see through polycarbonate keeps the open feel for the riders in the back as well as the front.
Which RZR it fits
Polaris RZR XP 4 1000, 2014 and newer. Pick the Model Year option that matches your machine. The option list shows both tints for 2014-2023 machines, and only Standard Polycarbonate – Dark Tint for 2024+.
Two seat machines take the tinted roof for the RZR XP 1000. The RZR S4 1000 and the RZR XP 4 Turbo have their own: the S4 1000 tinted roof and the XP 4 Turbo tinted roof. The rest are in UTV roofs.
Dark tint or hard coated light tint
Dark tint takes more glare and sun out of the cab and suits bright, open country. The light tint lets more light through for a brighter cab, and its XR Optic Hard Coating is SuperATV’s answer to the scratches you get from brush, low branches and wiping, plus yellowing and fading from the sun. If you ride tight, brushy trails, the coated version holds its clarity longer. Scratch resistant is not scratch proof, so the same care still applies.

Installation
All the hardware and instructions are included. It is a long roof, so have a second person hold it while you start the clamps, then tighten them evenly so the seals sit flat. Rinse the grit off before you wipe, then wash with warm water, mild soap and a microfiber cloth. Keep glass cleaner and anything with ammonia or alcohol off both versions.

Why does the option say windshield material on a roof?
That is the name SuperATV uses for the option. It sets the roof sheet: dark tint standard, or light tint hard coated.
Will it keep rain out?
SuperATV fits it with clamps and seals for a leakproof fit. It covers the top only, so add a windshield and doors to close in the cab.
Do I want full shade instead?
Then look at a solid roof, such as the aluminum roof for the RZR XP 4 1000.
How strong is it?
SuperATV states the polycarbonate is 25 times stronger than acrylic and 250 times stronger than glass. Those are the maker's figures.
