Overview
The stock front fender on a RZR does a fine job right up until the sand starts flying. These Polaris RZR front mud flaps are twice as wide as the original, which is exactly the amount of extra panel it takes to stop the spray from reaching the seats.
They mount where the front wheels sit closest to the cab, the spot that catches everything the tire kicks up. The widened design blocks a lot more mud, sand and rock than the factory piece, so the driver and the passenger both stay drier and the machine stays tidier. On a dune day the difference is obvious the first time you get on the throttle.
The plastic is a high quality impact resistant grade that also handles friction well, so it is not going to shatter the first time a rock catches an edge. The shape follows the RZR bodywork rather than hanging off it, so the machine still looks like a machine and not like it grew flaps.
