Overview
The bed of a Polaris General takes a beating. Firewood, coolers, gas cans, and tools all slide around and grind against the plastic, and it does not take long before the floor of the bed looks rough. This Tusk bed mat drops in as a sacrificial layer, so the mat wears instead of the machine.
It is molded from TPE, a thermoplastic elastomer that stays flexible and takes abuse without cracking. That material wipes clean with a hose or a rag, so mud, spilled fuel, and dropped feed do not become a permanent mess. It is shaped for the General bed with cutouts left open over the factory tie down points, which means you keep every anchor you already use for strapping down a load.
