The shell is DTY fabric, which Kemimoto rates as more tear resistant than the 420D Oxford you usually find at this price. An exterior PU coating and waterproof seam tape handle the wet side. Three reinforced straps pull the cover down tight so wind cannot get under it, and dual air vents let pressure and moisture escape instead of trapping damp air against your paint on a hot day. Up front there is a soft inner liner right where the fabric meets your windshield, so the cover is not sanding your polycarbonate every time it moves.
