Overview
This is SuperATV’s flip windshield for the Polaris RZR XP 1000. Three windshields in one part: fully closed for bad weather, vented for a breeze with the elements kept out, or flipped up to a half windshield for full airflow. An easy access latch and gas struts let you change it from the seat.
Which RZR it fits
Polaris RZR XP 1000 and RZR XP 4 1000, 2014 to 2023. You choose a Model Year (2014-2016, 2017-2018 or 2019-2023) and a RZR Model (With Ride Command or Without Ride Command). On the option list, the With Ride Command versions are for 2017-2018 and 2019-2023 machines. SuperATV’s fitment note says it can be used with most soft or hard tops.
A RZR XP Turbo takes the flip windshield for the RZR XP Turbo, and the RZR S 1000 has the flip windshield for the RZR S 1000.
Half or flip
SuperATV’s own comparison puts it simply: a half windshield keeps wind and sand out of your face and keeps airflow in the heat, while a flip gives full protection when closed and opens when you want air. If you ride through more than one season, the flip is the one that does both. If you only want to change positions now and then and like straps over struts, the flip down windshield for the XP 1000 folds the other way. More choices are in UTV windshields.

Installation
SuperATV preassembles as much as it can, so installing is mostly clamping it to the cage and setting the cross brace. Before you order, confirm whether your machine has Ride Command, because that is a separate version. Clean polycarbonate with warm water, mild soap and a clean microfiber cloth. Skip glass cleaner and anything with ammonia or alcohol, and rinse the dust off before you wipe, since dry wiping a dusty panel is what scratches it.

How do I know if I need the Ride Command version?
Ride Command is the Polaris dash display system on some models. Pick With Ride Command if your XP 1000 has it, and Without Ride Command if it does not.
Does it fit the XP 4 1000?
