Overview
This one turns the Ranger bed into a shelter. Steel frame, tubular support bows, 600D water-resistant Oxford fabric stretched over the top with transparent windows on all four sides. Hunting camp, work site, or a dog that would rather ride dry than wet, it covers all three.
The fabric shields against wind, snow, sand, mud and tree branches while blocking rain and UV. Under it, your bed stays clean and your gear stays dry. That is the whole job, and the materials are chosen to do it for more than one season.
Windows that roll
All four windows roll up and fasten open. Close them and the rain stays out. Roll them up and air moves through. Weather on a ride changes fast, and the cover changes with it in about a minute.
Installation requires no drilling and comes with instructions. Access is easy too: unzip both sides, release the hooks, and the bed is open again. Two things to know before you buy. The 1.5 inch expansion anchors are not included, so pick those up separately. And Kemimoto advises against towing the vehicle at highway speeds with the cover installed, or fitting a protective cover over it if you must.
