Overview
Two things happen when a Ranger bed is packed to the rim. You stop being able to fit anything else, and whatever is on top starts working its way out on the trail. This Kemimoto tailgate extender fixes both at once by adding space behind the bed and giving the load a wall to sit against.
The flip-out design is what makes it worth keeping on the machine full time. Flip it out and you have extra cargo area past the factory box. Flip it in and it becomes a sorting partition, keeping the coolers away from the tools and the tools away from everything else.
The tailgate on the extender opens, so loading and unloading is not a wrestling match with a fixed cage. High-strength carbon steel does the heavy lifting here, noticeably stronger than the aluminum you find on lighter-duty racks, and a powder-coated surface keeps the weather off it.
