Overview
This is SuperATV’s 12,000 lb. winch receiver mount. Instead of bolting a winch to one spot on one machine, you bolt the winch to this mount and slide the mount into a 2 inch receiver hitch. SuperATV says it fits any 2 inch receiver, on a UTV, a Jeep, a truck or anything else that has one.
Which receivers and winches it fits
The mount is universal, so there is no machine list. The two things to check are your receiver and your winch. The receiver has to be a 2 inch receiver. Many UTVs have one at the rear, but some smaller machines use a narrower receiver, so measure the opening first.
For the winch, SuperATV says the mount carries bolt patterns for winches from 4,500 to 12,000 lb. The maker’s spec list does not label its bolt pattern measurements, so they are not printed here. If you are fitting a winch you already own, ask us before you order.
Receiver mount or a fixed winch plate
A receiver mount makes sense when you want one winch to serve more than one job: pulling from the rear of the UTV, moving between machines that share a 2 inch receiver, or coming off entirely when you do not need it. The trade is that the winch is only there when you remember to bring it, and a pull can never be stronger than the hitch it is plugged into, so know what your receiver is rated for. If you want a winch that is always on the front of one machine, a machine-specific plate is the simpler setup. Those are in winch mounts.

Installation
Bolt the winch to the mount, fit the fairlead using the adapter plate that matches your winch size, and slide the mount into the receiver. SuperATV describes it as a quick and easy install on any 2 inch receiver. The part the mount does not solve for you is power. A receiver mounted winch still needs heavy cable from the battery to wherever you plug it in, and most owners run a quick disconnect so the winch can come off with the mount. Light trailer wiring is not built for winch current.
FAQs
Does it come with a winch?
That depends on the option you pick. The Add a Winch choices are 4500 lb., 6000 lb., 12000 lb. or No winch.
Will my own winch bolt to it?
SuperATV describes it as compatible with many OEM and aftermarket winches in the 4,500 to 12,000 lb. range. Many is not all, so check your winch's bolt pattern against the measurements listed above.
Why are there two fairlead adapter plates?
One is for a 12,000 lb. winch and the other is for 4,500 and 6,000 lb. winches. Use the one that matches the winch you mount.
Can I use it on my truck as well as my UTV?
SuperATV says it is designed to fit any 2 inch receiver hitch and names UTVs, Jeeps and trucks. Each vehicle needs its own power connection for the winch.
