Overview
Stack two 2 gallon packs together and you have a lot of weight riding on one mount. These retaining clips are what keep the two containers working as one unit instead of two. The interlock does the work, and the clips make sure it stays done.
They slide onto the interlock between a pair of stacked 2 gallon containers and hold the joint closed, so vibration and side loading do not let the packs walk apart on rough ground. Cheap, simple, and the kind of part you notice only when it is missing.
They come as a set of two clips, which is what one stacked pair needs. If you are running more than one stack on the rig, grab a set for each one.
