Overview
This is SuperATV’s winch-ready front bumper for the Can-Am Defender HD7. It puts a tall, wide piece of steel plate across the front of the machine and turns that plate into a mounting point for a winch and lights.
Which Defender it fits
Can-Am Defender HD7 and Defender HD7 DPS, 2022 and newer, and the four seat Defender MAX HD7, 2022 and newer. That is the whole list. If your Defender has a different engine, use its own listing: the winch-ready front bumper for the Defender HD10 or the winch-ready front bumper for the Defender HD8.
With a winch or without
The option is 4500 lb., 6000 lb. or No winch. For a Defender HD7 that mostly does property work and trail riding, the smaller winch covers a lot of ground. Go up a size if you carry heavy loads or ride deep mud. If a winch is not in the budget yet, No winch still leaves you with the mount and both bolt patterns for later.

Installation
The maker's text for this bumper does not give install steps or a hardware list, so we will leave those to the instructions that come with the part. If you are adding a winch or lights, do the mounting and wiring while the bumper is loose. Reaching behind a tightened plate bumper is slow work.

Is a winch included?
Only with the 4500 lb. or 6000 lb. option. No winch is the bumper by itself.
Does it fit the Defender MAX HD7?
Yes. The MAX HD7 is listed from 2022 and newer.
Can I fit a winch I already own?
SuperATV lists the bumper as pre-fit for its Black Ops winches from 2500 to 6000 Lb. For another brand, compare its bolt pattern to the two listed above.
Are lights included?
No. You get the precut cube light holes and the light bar brackets. This listing has no light option.
