Overview
This is SuperATV’s winch-ready front bumper for the Can-Am Defender HD8. It is a tall and wide steel plate bumper that guards the front of the machine and carries a winch, cube lights and a light bar if you want them.
Which Defender it fits
Can-Am Defender HD8, HD8 DPS and HD8 XT, 2016 to 2021, and the Defender MAX HD8, MAX HD8 DPS and MAX HD8 XT, 2017 to 2021. Years after 2021 are not listed. For the other engines, see the winch-ready front bumper for the Defender HD10 and the winch-ready front bumper for the Defender HD7.
With a winch or without
Pick 4500 lb., 6000 lb. or No winch. If there is already a winch on the machine, choose No winch and check that winch against the bolt patterns in the list above. If you are starting from nothing, buying the winch with the bumper means the two are matched from the start.

Installation
SuperATV's text for this bumper covers what it is made of and what it holds, not how it goes on, so follow the instructions supplied with it. One practical point on an older machine: clean up and check the front mounting points before the new bumper goes on, and wire the winch and lights before the last bolts are tight.
