Most soft tops make you pick between shade and a view. This Can-Am Defender MAX roof gives you both, because the front section is a clear PVC sunroof with a black canvas cover that rolls up out of the way.
Untie the strap, roll the cover back, and you get an open panel overhead for watching ridgelines and canopy on a slow trail crawl. Roll it forward and stick it down with the adhesive straps, and the front goes solid black for real shade on a hot afternoon or a low sun glare situation.
The whole top is 100 percent waterproof PVC and oxford cloth. It covers sun, rain, snow, and dust, blocks falling leaves and debris, and cuts down some of the wind noise that makes conversation in a Defender MAX cab a shouting match. Installation is tool free: no drilling, just tie down straps and plastic pins onto the roof frame you already have, with all the hardware included. One tip worth knowing: if the clear PVC film arrives wrinkled, warm air or a few hours of sunlight will flatten it back out. The film is rated for temperatures down to roughly minus 15 degrees.
