Overview
This is SuperATV’s Cargo Rack Alpha for the Can-Am Maverick X3. The X3 has a small bed, and this adds a steel platform above it for a cooler, a tool box or a spare tire. The platform swings up on gas struts, so the bed stays usable.
Which Maverick X3 it fits
The same rack covers the two seat X3 and the four seat X3 MAX. The year by year list is in the fitment chart on this page. In short:

What to carry up top
The rated cargo load capacity is 75 lb, and SuperATV does not say whether a mounted spare is counted inside that figure. Assume it is. A big wheel and tire can take most of the rating by itself, so if you run a spare up top, keep the cooler and the tool box in the bed. Light, bulky gear is what a raised platform is good at.

Installation
SuperATV lists heavy-duty clamps and brackets as the mounting method. Get a helper to hold the platform, set every clamp loosely, square the rack over the bed, then tighten. Check that the lever latches cleanly with the rack empty before you put weight on it.
FAQs
Does it fit the X3 MAX?
Yes. The MAX models are on the fitment list alongside the two seat X3.
Does it block the bed?
No. The gas struts let you raise the rack to reach the bed, and the lever latches it down again.
Will it block my rear view?
SuperATV says the rack does not obstruct the rear view. What you strap on top of it is another matter, so think about that when you load a spare.
Can I move the brackets?
Yes. The three brackets are removable and can be mounted anywhere on the platform.
