Overview
The trouble with a full windshield on an X3 is that dust settles inside the cab and heat has nowhere to go. This can am maverick x3 half windshield takes the opposite approach: block the stuff coming at your chest, let the air keep moving over the top.
The top lip kicks forward at 45 degrees, which pushes airflow and the dust riding in it up and over the cab instead of curling back into your face. On a hot day that means you are still getting air. On a dusty one it means the cloud your buddy left behind mostly goes past you.
Material is quarter inch hard coated polycarbonate, tinted rather than clear. A rubber strip runs the perimeter so the panel seats tight against the cage without metal-on-plastic chatter, and the mounting clamps let you put it on or pull it off without digging out tools. All the hardware you need is in the box, and the rubber means nothing scrapes your cage powder coat.
