Overview
Rock lights earn their keep twice. In camp they turn the ground under your machine into usable light, and on the trail at night they show you where a tire is about to place itself. The color is the fun part, but the visibility is why they stay on the machine.
Each of the six pods carries 22 CREE 5050 RGBW chips with a 232.8 degree beam, so the spread is wide and even rather than a hot spot with dark edges around it. They run anywhere from 9V to 32V, which means they are happy on a stock 12V system without a converter. Housings are aluminum with a sturdy PC lens that shrugs off shock and vibration, and the IP68 rating comes from an ultrasonic welding process rather than a bead of sealant.

Control runs two ways: an RF remote pad or a Bluetooth app on your phone, with blinking modes, gradient modes and timers. The app works on iOS 7 or Android 4.3 and up. A set of 6 pod rgb rock lights is the cheapest way to make a machine look completely different after dark.
