Overview
These Primal soft cab enclosure doors are SuperATV’s fabric doors for the Can-Am Defender HD8. They give an older HD8 a closed cab for wet and cold rides, then roll up or come off completely when you want the open air back.
Which Defender it fits
Standard cab Can-Am Defender HD8, HD8 DPS, HD8 XT and HD8 XT Cab, model years 2016 to 2021. Later model years are not listed for this set. If you have the crew cab, you want the Primal soft doors for the Defender MAX HD8. SuperATV’s fitment note says not to use these doors below minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit.
Soft doors or aluminum doors
On a work machine like the HD8, soft doors make sense when you want the cab warm in winter and wide open in summer. Their weak spot is sharp brush and branches. If that is your daily ride, the aluminum doors for the Defender HD8 are the harder wearing pick.

Installation
The kit includes all the hardware and instructions. The panels fasten to the frame with snaps, hook and loop strips and cinch straps, so it is a fitting job, not a wrenching one. When you roll them up, snap them under the flap and they stay out of the mud. Store them rolled rather than folded, and clean the vinyl windows with mild soap and water only.
