Overview
SuperATV’s Primal soft cab enclosure doors for the Can-Am Defender MAX HD8 keep wind, rain and trail spray out of both rows of the crew cab. When the weather is good, unzip and roll the windows or take the doors off.
Which Defender it fits
Can-Am Defender MAX HD8, MAX HD8 DPS, MAX HD8 XT and MAX HD8 XT Cab, model years 2017 to 2021. Later years are not listed for this set. The two door HD8 uses the Primal soft doors for the Defender HD8. SuperATV’s fitment note says not to use these doors below minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit.
Which door for a MAX HD8
We carry three styles for this machine. These Primal doors are the soft, removable option. The convertible cab enclosure doors for the MAX HD8 are another soft design to compare, and the aluminum doors for the HD8 MAX are the hard option for heavy brush.

Installation
The hardware and instructions come in the box. The doors attach to the frame with hook and loop strips and frame mounted snaps, so the work is lining up each panel and snapping it home. SuperATV's MAX pages do not say whether the doors pair with a particular roof or windshield, so check the fitment notes on the roof and windshield you run. Store the doors rolled, not folded, and wash the vinyl with mild soap and water.

Will these fit a newer Defender MAX?
Not as listed. This set covers the MAX HD8 from 2017 to 2021.
How do I vent the cab?
Unzip the windows and roll them up. Heavy duty snaps hold them open.
Can they come off for summer?
Yes. SuperATV says you can remove the doors when it gets hot.
Do I need the rear windshield option?
No. Choose None for doors only, or pick one of the tinted, scratch resistant or sliding window versions to close the back.
