Overview
This is SuperATV’s rear bumper for the Can-Am Maverick X3. It is a tube bumper shaped to the back of the machine, and SuperATV built it to protect the tail lights, the exhaust and the cargo area. It also adds a towing clevis you can reach without crawling under the machine.

The 72 list also includes the X RS Turbo RR with Smart-Shox 72 and the MAX X RS Turbo RR with Smart-Shox 72, 2022 and newer. SuperATV’s fitment note says the bumper is compatible with all rear suspension bolt configurations.
One thing it does not work with: SuperATV says this bumper is not compatible with the OEM receiver hitch. The Maverick Trail, Sport and Maverick R are different machines and are not listed for it. Their bumpers are in UTV bumpers.
This bumper or the F-22
We list two rear bumpers for the X3. This one is SuperATV’s own tube design, and its practical points are the towing clevis and the oil access hole. The other is the Assault Industries F-22 rear bumper for the Maverick X3, which is a different design from a different maker. Read both pages against how you use the machine. If you run the OEM receiver hitch, note that this bumper is not compatible with it.

Installation
SuperATV describes an easy bolt on install and supplies the hardware and instructions. Hang the bumper on loosely started bolts, check that it sits even against the body on both sides, then tighten. Go back over the bolts after the first ride or two.

Will it fit an X3 MAX?
Yes. The four seat MAX models in the list above use the same bumper.
Do I have to take it off to change the oil?
No. SuperATV put an access hole in it so the bumper stays on for regular oil maintenance.
Can I keep my OEM receiver hitch?
No. SuperATV's note says this bumper is not compatible with the OEM receiver hitch.
