Overview
These are SuperATV’s LED laser whip lights, a whip light with no whip. Each one focuses its LEDs into a narrow beam that points up into the night sky, so there is nothing tall to catch on a branch.
What it fits
The lights are universal. They mount with their own stainless steel adjustable brackets, which SuperATV says can be positioned on a roll cage or another mounting point. The maker’s information does not give a tube size, so check the brackets against your cage when you plan the install.
Laser whips or regular whips
A regular whip puts light on a tall flexible pole. That is what you want if the place you ride requires a whip or flag of a set height, because a beam of light is not a pole. These suit wooded trails, where a tall whip gets hit, and dusty or hazy nights, when the beam shows up best. For a regular whip see the RGB LED whip lights.

Installation
Mount the two lights, place the control box somewhere dry, run the harness and fit the rocker switch. The hardware is included, and SuperATV describes it as a basic tool job with no extra wiring parts needed. Point the beams straight up. Do not aim them at other riders or toward a road.
FAQs
Are they real lasers?
SuperATV describes them as pencil-focused LED lights. The name comes from the look of the beam.
How do I change the color?
With the wireless remote or the wired rocker switch. The colors are red, green, blue and white.
Can they get wet?
The housing is rated IP67 water-resistant.
Do they count as a whip at the dunes?
Do not assume so. Check the rule for the area you ride. Many set a height for a physical whip or flag.
