Overview
This is SuperATV’s winch mounting plate for the Polaris Ranger 1000. Farm work, pulling a friend out, or getting yourself unstuck all start with a winch that has something solid to bolt to, and this is that part.
Which Ranger it fits
Polaris Ranger 1000 and Ranger 1000 Crew, 2020 and newer. This is the Ranger 1000 without XP in the name.
The Ranger XP 1000 is listed separately: see the winch mounting plate for the Ranger XP 1000. Check the badge on your machine before you order, because the two names are one word apart. Other Rangers are in UTV winch mounts.
Which winch size
No winch is the choice if you are moving a winch over from another machine. If you want one with the plate, pick 3500 lb., 4500 lb. or 6000 lb. On a utility machine the honest number to size against is the Ranger with its bed loaded. The rule of thumb is about one and a half times that weight.
