Overview
This is a winch mount kit for the Polaris Ranger XD 1500: SuperATV’s steel mounting plate for the machine, together with a SuperATV Black Ops winch. You get the mount and the winch in one order.
Which Ranger it fits
- Ranger XD 1500 Premium, NorthStar Premium and NorthStar Ultimate, 2024 and newer
- Ranger XD 1500 Crew Premium, Crew NorthStar Premium and Crew NorthStar Ultimate, 2024 and newer
The Ranger XP 1000 and Ranger 1000 are not listed for this kit. Their plates are separate: the Ranger XP 1000 and the Ranger 1000. All of them are in UTV winch mounts.
4500 lb. or 6000 lb.
Both sizes fit the same mount, so this comes down to how the Ranger gets used. A Crew with every seat taken and a full bed is the heavy case. The usual rule of thumb is a winch rated for about one and a half times the loaded weight. If you tow, haul or plow with it, that points to the 6000 lb. choice.

Installation
SuperATV's outline of the job: remove the front bumper, add the winch, and secure the shoulder bolts, using the included hardware. Disconnect the battery before you wire the winch, and follow the winch's instructions for the electrical side.
