Overview
This is Assault Industries’ extended light bar bracket kit. It mounts a light bar to the cage with clamps that sit flat, so they do not get in the way of a roof.
What it fits
The maker calls the fitment universal, and you order by cage size. Three fitment notes come with it:
- It will not work with cages that have built in gusset plates at the A-pillar. The maker names the Maverick X3.
- On those cages the gussets need to be removed, or the kit is used with an aftermarket cage.
- The maker has confirmed it with these light bars, and says spacers may be needed and are not included: KC Hilites Flex, C-Series and Gravity 39-40 inch bars, Rigid E-Series, Radiance, curved and SR-Series Pro 40 inch bars, the Baja Designs S8 40 inch bar and the Vision X XPL 40 inch bar.
These or the angled top tube mounts
The angled top tube mounts are the angled brackets for top tube and A-pillar installs, and they have a machine by machine fitment chart. This extended kit is the universal one, with the gusset limits above. If your cage has plates welded in at the A-pillar, sort that question out first.

Installation
Clamp the brackets to the cage tube, hang the light bar between them and level it before you tighten. If your bar is one of the confirmed models, have spacers on hand in case it needs them. They are not in the kit.
FAQs
My cage has A-pillar gussets. Will it work?
Ask us before you order. The maker describes the extended design as being for cages with A-pillar gussets, and its fitment note also says the kit will not work with built in gusset plates such as those on the Maverick X3. We would rather check your cage than guess.
Will it fit my light bar?
The maker says it works with a variety of light bars and names the confirmed ones listed above. For a bar that is not named, compare its end mounts before you order.
Are spacers included?
No. The fitment note says spacers may be needed and are not included.
Is a light bar included?
No. This is the bracket kit only.
